The Ernakulam Central Police on Tuesday arrested a person in connection with a robbery case reported last week near the KSRTC bus stand.
The arrested is Biju, 18, of Chembukad in Gandhi Nagar here. According to the police, the accused and three accomplices snatched a purse and a cellphone from a youth.
Following the youth’s complaint, the police had arrested a gang member. Based on his statement, Biju was arrested. The police have also received information on the other two accomplices.
