Actor Mammootty inaugurated South Indian Bank’s 750th branch and 787th ATM centre at Pallikkara in Ernakulam on Tuesday. The new deposit scheme of the bank, SIB 750, was also launched at the function. The limited period deposit scheme assures interest rate of up to 10.10 per cent. South Indian Bank managing director and chief executive officer V A Joseph presided over the function.
SIB Travel Card, was also launched at the function.
The card enables users to withdraw foreign currency while travelling abroad.
In addition to that, the card holder’s account can be topped up from any branch of the bank.
Bank’s executive directors Abraham Thariyan, Cherian Varkey, Anna group of companies managing director Bobby M Jacob and Kunnathunadu gram panchayat president Shyla Noushad also spoke.
