The management of Darul Uloom VHS and Higher Secondary School in Pulleppady on Tuesday said allegations raised against it by two teaching employees, a married couple, were baseless.
Laila Rasheed, mother of Shereena Beevi, a teacher at the school, had alleged that her daughter was being mentally tortured by the school manager.
It was also alleged that the school management had turned hostile to Shereena after she lodged complaint with the Vigilance and higher officials against it.
But, the school management said the allegation were fabricated by Shereena and her husband K B Nissam to prevent disciplinary action against the latter.
“Ernakulam central police on June 23, 2012, had registered a case against Nissam for verbally abusing and threatening the headmaster of the school. The higher secondary joint director, who inquired into the issue, recommended disciplinary action against Nissam. Laila levelled the allegations at the instance of Nissam to prevent disciplinary action against him,” School Manager H E Mohammed Babu Sait said in a press release.
