It looks like the Traffic police has turned a blind eye to the illegal parking on Canal Road in Kaloor. Even though no-parking stickers and boards are in place, vehicles can be seen parking on the road. Earlier, the traffic police used to take strict action against the violators and levied fines from offenders apart from sticking stickers on the vehicles.

Vehicles continue to park on the narrow road and passage through the road is hindered. Speaking on this, P Shams, Traffic East Assistant Commissioner, said they would take strict action against offenders. “We have not received any complaints regarding this. However, we will check the area and take action, including levying of fines on offenders,” he said.
