On the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, the Excise Enforcement and Anti-Narcotic Special Squad seized 226 high-dose ampoules stocked in a house at Aluva on Wednesday.
The Excise team also arrested two persons, identified as Prahaladan, 32, Manakthazham House, Aluva; and Rinshad, 29, Edayathalyil House, Aluva.
The ampoules were buprenorphine injection IP lupigesic, which is prescribed for cancer patients.
