Warships depart

Seven warships of the Eastern Fleet of the Indian Navy departed on Thursday after a brief stopover here.

The Eastern Fleet had sailed into the harbour on Monday, with Rear Admiral Ajith Kumar P, commanding it and flying his flag on board INS Ranvijay. The fleet were returning after participating in TROPEX, the theatre-level exercise of the Navy, conducted off the west coast of India last month.
