Model Engineering College leads in ‘Sargam’

 The talent and skill of students came to the fore in a number of events including mime, adapt tune, western dance, ‘kathaprasangam’, classical music,  ‘mapilappattu’, drama and other items on the fourth day of ‘Sargam’, the youth festival of Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), on Friday.

  Model Engineering College, Thrikkakara, is  leading with 152 points followed by CUSAT main campus in the second place with 95 points. School of Engineering, CUSAT is third with 92 points.

 Competitions were held in a number of disciplines including quiz, English recitation, elocution, debate, pencil drawing, collage, oil painting and Malayalam film review.

 The valedictory function of ‘Sargam’ will be held on Saturday. Contests in western song, western group dance and ‘ganamela’ will be held.
