For those who wish to enter the world of films, here is an opportunity. Flash On Cinema Company is organising an audition through a slew of short film, group dance and music band competitions. Those who wins the contest will get a chance to be part of the company’s new film, ‘Mirror’ directed by Anil Sign and Jayakrishna.

The audition titled ‘Campulse Mirror of an Era’ invites applications from the students of  private colleges, film institutions, computer centres and regular colleges.

The duration of the short films should be 20 minutes. In the group dance category, a minimum of 17 students should be there and in the music band category, there should be atleast seven members.

The first phase audition will be held among the students of Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam. The winners from the first-phase audition will get direct entry in to the final phase audition which will be held at Ernakulam.

The 20-minutes short film should be directed, acted, scripted by students. One college can send as many number of entries for the competition.

The application forms and three DVDs of the short film should reach before November 25 to ‘7B Swas Mystic Heights 1, Kaniyampuzha Road, Eroor PO, Vytilla, Kochi - 682306. A single college can perform in as many number of group dance competitions. Any song with a length of 7 minutes can be included. In the music band competition, the songs should be in Malayalam and should have a duration of 7 minutes. Those who wish to participate in these two sections should send their details to before November 10.
