A range of designer garments from the house of Gowri Designer Garments is on display at Pradarshan Hall, BTH. A variety of kurtis and salwars in cool cottons and silk in contemporary and classic design and unique embroidery work are available at affordable prices. The collections are from Gowri, a designer boutique which has outlets in Kottayam and Thiruvananthapuram. The women’s entrepreneurship team led by a family of four women offers employment to about 30 women. Though the focus is on casuals, an array of party wear also dot the expo. Readymade salwars in sublime hues and cuts are another attraction. The salwar materials are from the looms in different parts of the country. The exhibition and sale is on till Sunday.
