CSI regional students meet held

The 24th regional students convention of Computer Society of India (CSI) was inaugurated at Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology (RSET) at Kakkanad on Thursday.

The 24th regional students convention of Computer Society of India (CSI) was inaugurated at Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology (RSET) at Kakkanad on Thursday.

Inaugurating the conference, Mini Ullanat highlighted the need of interaction between the student community and professionals for the sake of knowledge exchange. Dr Antony Karayil, director, CSI Rajagiri School of  Engineering and Technology presided over the inaugural ceremony. In his presidential address, he stressed the sociological implications of the new technical developments. Soman S P, Region VII Regional vice-president, CSI, CEO Skillteck Computers, was felicitated the gathering. RSET principal Dr J Isaac spoke while Jacob Jose Chennankuzha CSI - Student Representative, presented the report of activities of RSET student chapter in the last academic year. Joseph John, CSI - Student Representative, RSET chapter also spoke.

The convention will be held on Friday and Saturday at Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology. The two day convention will provide a platform for sharing knowledge and exposing the technological skills of students.
