KOCHI: The National Stock Exchange (NSE) is reaching out to students and professionals in Kochi through its NCFM Centre.
NSE’s Certification in Financial Markets (NCFM) is an online testing and certification programme, which gives candidates expertise in financial markets and helps them get attractive jobs in the financial sector.
NSE runs more than 150 centres in different parts of the country, especially in tier two and tier three towns, for the NCFM tests. In Kerala, more than 17,500 candidates have appeared for the NCFM tests. In the next few years, the Kochi NCFM centre is expected to conduct a much higher number of online tests as Kochi attracts a large number of students and professionals from other parts of the country. Apart from Kochi, candidates in Kerala can also appear for the tests in Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, Kottayam, Thrissur and other towns. A student or a working professional interested in one of the modules can apply online on NSE’s website, www.nseindia.com, a statement from NSE stated.
