KOCHI: A musical event, Hridayasaras, is being organised by Ganavishkar in association with Kerala Fine Arts Society to honour Srikumaran Thampi, on Saturday.
Ganavishkar, is a family of music lovers,established in Kochi more than a decade ago. As a congregation of amateur singers and music lovers, Ganavishkar has tried to create a mark in the minds of the music fraternity through its innovative programmes.
M K Arjunan, veteran music director, who has composed maximum number of songs for
them will be honoured during the programme. The programme will be inaugurated by chief guest M P Veerendrakumar, managing director, Mathrubhoomi Publications.
Hridayasaras will be a unique music presentation, with Sreekumaran Thampi himself presenting his selected songs, on stage.
Playback singer Unni Menon, cine director Rajasenan and actor Ashokan will lend colour, to the show along with other singers and a full-fledged orchestra.
