KOCHI: A three-day all-Kerala workshop on Petroleum Refining being organised by Petrolearn Consulting started at Government Youth Hostel, Kakkanad.
P S Ramachandran, GM (projects), BPCL-Kochi Refinery inaugurated the workshop. Jose P Philip,managing director, TechPro Infra Projects, presided. M A Mohammed Ali, former director, Kochi Refinery and George Paul, deputy general manager conducted the workshop.
The main objective of the workshop is to build world-class competencies among potential engineers and nurturing them to take up careers in petroleum sector.
Nearly 100 students from various engineering colleges in the state are attending the programme, which includes lectures, individual and group work and field visit.
