KOCHI: The Cheranalloor police on Saturday arrested a 50-year-old man on charges of sexually harassing a 22-year-old mentally challenged girl.
The accused is Tomy of Cheranalloor. According to police officials, the victim is a Class-VII student. “It was found that the victim had been subjected to sexual assault by the accused at an isolated place near her school. During the interrogation, the accused confessed to having committed the offence. Tomy was produced before the magistrate, and was remanded in judicial custody for 14 days.
