4 Held for Intruding into Naval Facility

KOCHI:The police have arrested a Bangladesh national and three West Bengal-natives for allegedly intruding into INS Dhronacharya at Fort Kochi a few days ago.The men were arrested based on a tip-off from the Naval authorities. The police have registered case against them.

 According to the police, the men entered the Naval facility for rag-picking. “Four days ago, the Naval authorities spotted the group of men on the compound of INA Dhronacharya, but they escaped when an alarm was raised.

“Later, the men were arrested from their rented house at Maradu, from where a Bengladeshi currency note was recovered,” said a police official.Initially, the Bangladesh native had told the police that he was a native of West Bengal. However, he failed to produce any document to prove his identity.
