CM to Launch Artificial Turf on August 10

Oommen Chandy will inaugurate the artificial turf sponsored by FIFA at Ambedkar Stadium on August 10.

KOCHI: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will inaugurate the artificial turf sponsored by FIFA at Ambedkar Stadium on August 10.

The construction of the artificial turf was carried out by spending a sum of Rs 5 crore.

The football ground with the length of 112 metre and width of 78 metre was constructed by an Italian company that has in turn tied up with the governing body of world football.
