KOCHI:The eighth national conference of SELSI (Society of Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons of India) will be organised by the Minimally Invasive Surgery department of Sunrise hospital at Kochi from August 7 to 9.
The three-day programme will focus on important topics which include keyhole surgeries in gynaecology and general surgery departments.
“ More than 2000 surgeons from all over the world are participating at this three-day conference.Different types of Laparoscopic surgeries, oncology, bariatric, urology, gastro intestinal surgery are demonstrated in these live workshops and Continuing Medical education programmes,” said a press statement which was issued from the hospital.
The conference will be officially inaugurated on August 8 at 6 pm. Founder convenor of SELSI and director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi Dr Manesh C Misra will inaugurate the function at Adlux Convention centre Angamaly.
National president of SELSI Dr Surinder Singh will preside over the function.
