KOCHI: ’Santhwanam’, a mass contact programme of the district administration, will be held at Muvattupuzha on Tuesday.
The programme is being conducted in association with the block panchayat. Minister for Food and Civil Supplies Anoop Jacob will inaugurate the programme at the block panchayat golden jubilee hall at 10 am.
Around 1000 applicants are expected to take part in the programme. The applications which will be considered at the programme will be those submitted at panchayats and which have been examined at the block level. On Tuesday, applications will be directly received at the block level. The authorities have requested bed-ridden patients to avoid turning up at the programme in ambulance. Their relatives can give application on their behalf.
