KOCHI: Najath Public School, Kalamassery, secured the third position in the ‘India Supercup 5 A Side’ tournament held in Bangalore.
The tournament, organised by Big Entertainment & Thailand Football Federation, saw Najath Public School scoring four goals in five matches. Anas T S, a member of the school team, became the top scorer in the tournament, said Principal Annamma K C.
Najath Public School was the only participating team from Kerala. A total of nine teams participated in the tournament. LaMartinaise School, Kolkata and Mallya Aditi International School, Bangalore, secured the first two positions. Sharafuddin was the captain of the Kalamassery school team.
The tournament was held from August 10-13.
