KOCHI:Chasing the dream of becoming an Indian Institute of Science and Technology (IIEST), the Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) is awaiting favourable decision by the Union Cabinet on the proposal to get IIEST tag.“We have unofficially learned that the proposal has been cleared by the Planning Commission and the Ministries of Finance and Legal and now it is for the Cabinet to give the clearance’’, said a top official of the varsity.
