Digitising Onam Fervour

Debates may rage over whether or not digitisation has wrecked havoc on our   traditions but there is indeed a positive side to it, proves Whyletz Branding Pvt Ltd, a strategic branding agency and creative studio based in Kochi.

In a novel endeavour, the team has given Onam a digital taste by coming up with digital illustrations and posters that capture the essence and feel of the festival.

Titled ‘e-Kaalam Onappaattu’, the creative team of Whyletz has aesthetically recreated the famous song “Maveli Naadu Vaneedum Kalam...” into digital posters that sketches the prosperity of bygone era.

“Team Whyletz tried to recreate the wonderful experiences and nostalgic elements we have all had during our childhood or those good old stories our folks narrated to us. We tried to capture the true essence of Onam as much as we can,” says Ahmad Vaseem, CEO of Whyletz.

The team will also bring out a animated video of the posters as part of the project.
