Laurels for Malayalis in ISS Examination

KOCHI: Two of the five ranks in the Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination are from Kerala.

 Dona Francis of Iritty, Kannur, secured the first rank while Richy Rachel Mathew of North Paravur, Ernakulam, obtained the fifth rank in the Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination, 2015.

 Niret K Kurian, who got 22nd rank, is the other Keralite among the top 50 rank holders. ISS is a group-A Gazetted officer post which is equivalent to civil service grade.

 Dona Francis did her M.Sc Statistics from the Cochin University of Science and Technology.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the results of the Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination 2015 based on the written examination conducted by it in May this year and the interviews for personality test in August late on Wednesday.
