KOCHI: The Kochi city police have formed a special squad to check eve-teasing on private buses. The squad comprises both male and female personnel of the police and will closely monitor certain routes and buses where incidents of taunting and harassment are taking place more often.
Besides booking people engaged in such acts, the squad is also tasked with checking over-speeding and increasing awareness on guarding oneself against pickpocketing and other such transgressions.
