KOCHI: Two men from Mattancherry were arrested on Tuesday on charges of stealing cameras from a studio at Kochangadi near here.
The police said Akbar and Muhammed Hamdi stole a `1.5 lakh-worth digital camera and a handi-camera, besides lifting the mobile phones of a few migrant labourers sleeping by the wayside. Akbar, police said, had earlier worked as an assistant in the studio. The cameras were recovered during a raid in their homes.
