KOCHI: FACT Engineering and Design Organisation (FEDO), the engineering and design division of FACT, and FACT Engineering Works (FEW), the fabrication division of FACT, have agreed to enter into an MoU with Chinese Company HUALU Engineering and Technology.
As per the proposal, the parties have agreed to consider participating in various projects involving engineering activities of expertise; fabrication of equipment and components; inspection services; procurement assistance; commissioning assistance and revamp of fertiliser plant. Companies will cooperate in the fields of fertilisers, hydrocarbon and chemicals.
“The tie-up will help the companies share the project information available to them, related to the projects being considered for cooperation in India and abroad. Further, the parties agreed to devise and exchange various programmes, for which technical experts from both sides would visit each other on regular/specific basis,” said a press statement from FACT. FEDO joint general manager Manual Zacharias and FEW deputy general manager Kurian Abraham signed the documents in the presence of FACT chairman and managing director Jaiveer Srivastava. HUALU was represented by overseas division director Jin Shan and overseas division manager Niu Fuzhou.
