KOCHI: As many as 2,000 police personnel will be deployed in the city to ward off any untoward incidents when the election results will be declared on Saturday.
Police personnel will be deployed across the city, including the counting centres, to check law and order issues. “Around 5,000 police personnel will be deployed in Ernakulam Rural, in connection with declaration of election results,” said a Special Branch official.
