Fun Method to Study Maths

KOCHI: Institute of Scientific Research and Training (ISRT) has launched Mathematics Laboratory, an idea prescribed by NCERT, named Alpha 2 Omega for students from class I to X. These lab kits were designed to help students to learn the most complicated and tough theories in maths through simple and enjoyable methods, by way of touch and feel. ISRT Director Anian Koshy and Marketing Head T A Sreekumar jointly launched Alpha 2 Omega Mathematics Lab Kit at a function held in Kochi. Business Head K Jayakumar, Marketing GM Sunny Mathew were also present.

“ In order to exhibit the requirement and usage of Mathematics labs to the teachers and students prescribed by NCERT, ISRT is organising Mega Mathematics lab exhibitions across the country. There are three exhibitions to be held in Alappuzha Town Hall (November 13), Ernakulam Town Hall (November 14) and Kottayam Library Hall (November 16). More than 400 institutional Mathematics model and Alpha 2 Omega lab kits will be displayed during the exhibitions,” said Anian Koshy. During the exhibition, seminars will also be held lead by Hukum Singh, Former Dean of NCERT and Palliyara Sreedharan, Director of Kerala Science Park. The price of the maths kit for Std I is Rs 970 and for Std X is Rs 1270. ISRT has conducted exhibitions in 15 states sofar.
