KOCHI: The Income Tax Department has decided to issue notice to the head of Elegance Group and his aide for recording their statement over alleged tax evasion.
The Income Tax Department has unearthed tax evasion of a total of `45 crore over the past seven years, during raids conducted at the hotels and business establishments under the Group.
Elegance Group chief Binoy Joseph and his aide will be questioned in connection with tax evasion detected for the 2008-2015 period.
