KOCHI: A petition has been filed before the High Court, seeking an inquiry into the graft allegations levelled by Opposition Leader V S Achuthanandan against two Ministers, and necessary legal action. VS in January 2015 had alleged that Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala and Excise Minister K Babu received huge amounts as bribe from bar owners. “Instead of conducting an inquiry into the allegation, the Vigilance and Anti-corruption Bureau suspiciously limited the enquiry to quick verification,” submitted the petitioner.
