KOCHI: Ziv Shalvi, Deputy Chief of Mission, Head of Administration and Consular at the Consulate General of Israel, Bengaluru, held discussions with Cultural Affairs Minister K C Joseph here on Monday, on protecting the Jewish monuments in Kochi.
The meeting was held at a private hotel. At the meeting, Shalvi highlighted the role played by Jews in the social and cultural development of the city, since the first Jews arrived here around 2,500 years ago.
