Man Held for Film Piracy

KOCHI:  The Thrikkakara Police on Saturday arrested a person for allegedly downloading and circulating a pirated version of Malayalam film Amar Akbar Anthony.

The arrested has been identified as Srikanth of Njarakkal. The police had booked three persons from different parts of the city the other day, following a complaint filed by producer of the film. The investigation revealed that the accused had downloaded the pirated version of the movie from ‘torrent’ and circulated the CDs.
