KOCHI: The Advanced Emergency Life Support (AELS 2015) Emergency Medicine National Conference was inaugurated at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences by Emergency Medicine Department head Dr Gireeshkumar.
The inaugural function was attended by Dr Jaggu, Rahna, Dr T S Srinathkumar, Dr Sreekrishnan T P and Dr Ajith V. The two day conference was organised by the department of Emergency Medicine and department of Cardiology of Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences. The conference is a combined seminar cum hands-on workshop program encompassing the fields of cardiac emergencies.
Conference aimed at honing the skills of the emergency physicians so that they can make quick diagnosis and take prompt intervention which will in turn save lives.Eminent faculty from both fields were resource persons and speakers at the conference. It was attended by consultants, specialists, post graduates, residents, interns, MBBS students, and paramedical personals from across India.
