KOCHI: Applications are invited from meritorious sportspersons who have represented the country/state/universities at international, national and inter-university (conducted by the Inter-university Sports Board) tournaments for appointment to two posts of Inspector of Income Tax, seven Posts of Tax Assistants and one post of Multitasking Staff, under the ‘sports quota.’ Details of the vacancies are available on www.incometaxindia.gov.in - under the ‘Misc Communications’ option.
Applications should be sent to ‘Dy CIT (Hq) (Admn), The Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Kerala, CR Building, IS Press Road, Kochi- 682018 on or before September 15. For candidates domiciled in northeastern states, Andaman Nicobar, Lakshadweep and J& K, the last date for submitting application is September 30.
