National tech day

KOCHI: As part of the National Technology Day celebrations, SEEM (Society of Energy Engineers and Managers -Kerala), conducted a seminar on ‘Advances in Technologies for sustainable development’ at AISAT, Albertian Institute of Science and Technology, Kalamassery, on Wednesday.

The program was organised in association with Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment throughout the state. The seminar, attended mostly by the students of the department of electrical engineering, was inaugurated by Dr Babu T Jose, director of AISAT. C Jayaraman, general secretary of SEEM, began the session with a presentation on the history of sustainable development from 1960’s to 2016. Through the presentation, the students got the opportunity to know more about the different aspects of technology.
