Kochi District schools put up impressive show in CBSE exam

KOCHI: A number of schools in the district achieved 100 per cent pass in the Class-X examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), results of which were announced on Thursday afternoon.

Among the schools that recorded cent per cent pass, at Chinmaya Vidyalaya-Tripunithura, 29 of the 134 Class-X students secured A1 in all subjects. As many as 40 of the 154 students appeared for the examination at Chinmaya Vidyalaya-Vaduthala got A1 in all subjects.  

All the Bhavan’s Schools registered cent per cent pass. At Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir-Elamakkara, 80 of the 191 students who appeared for the examination scored A1 in all subjects. At Bhavan’s Adarsha Vidyalaya-Kakkanad, 38 out of the 156 Class-X students got full A1. At, Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya-Thrikkakara, 30 of the 73 students secured A1 in all subjects.

At Bhavan’s Munshi Vidyashram-Thiruvamkulam, where 133 students appeared for the examination, 54 got full A1, while 33 of the 124 students of Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir-Girinagar passed all the subjects with A1.

At Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir-Eroor, where 173 students wrote the examination, 40 secured full A1. As many as 20 among the 81 students wrote the Class-X examination at Bhavan’s Newsprint Vidyalaya-Vellore, got A1 in all subjects.   At Christu Jayanthi Public School-Kakkanad, where 162 students appeared for the examination, 66 passed all the subjects with A1.

At Rajagiri Public School-Kalamassery, 29 out of the 153 students who appeared for the examination got A1 in all subjects. Sacred Heart CMI Public School saw 24 of its 127 Class-X students passing all the subjects with A1. At Vidyadhiraja Vidyabhavan-Angamaly, 25 of the 121 students who appeared for the examination got A1 in all subjects. Vidyanketan Public School, where 191 students appeared for the examination, 39 secured full A1.

At Al-Ameen Public School-Edappally, 16 of the 182 students who wrote the examination got full A1.   At Amrita Vidyalayam-Edappally, 85 of the 87 students who appeared for the examination got ‘Distinction,’ while the remaining two students got First Class. Of the 144 students who appeared for the examination at Campion School-Edappally, 51 secured full A1.

At Nava Nirman Public School-Vazhakkala, 69 of the 88 students passed in all subjects with A1. At Marthoma Public School-Kakkanad, out of the 105 students, 66 secured Distinction and 34 got First Class.

At Choice School, 47 out of the 168 students who wrote the examination secured A1 in all subjects, which includes 19 First Class.
