Archbishop urges liberation of suppressed

The liberation of the suppressed and marginalised sections across the world should be the prayer for this year’s Easter, said  Archbishop of Verapoly Joseph Kalathiparambil in his Easter Message.

KOCHI: The liberation of the suppressed and marginalised sections across the world should be the prayer for this year’s Easter, said  Archbishop of Verapoly Joseph Kalathiparambil in his Easter Message.

“Lets keep away hatred and hold tightly those languishing in conflicts. Bloodshed does not bring success. Stop atrocities against women and children,” he said.

He also called for eschewing the new generation lifestyle fuelled by drugs and alcohol and return to the simple ways.“May this Easter help to revive the minds of people to forgive others. We should have the heart to help the homeless and the migrants.

Lets share with them what we have and pray for the resurrection of those denied justice,” Kalathiparambil said.
