KOCHI: The FACT M K K Nayar memorial awards and G S Dhara Singh memorial gold medals were distributed at Productivity House in Kalamassery here on Friday. The best productivity award in the large industries category was given to BPCL Kochi Refinery, Ambalamugal, while the second best award went to Cochin Shipyard Ltd. Tata Global Beverages won the best performance award in the medium large industries category, while United Breweries Ltd won the second place in this segment.
Prima Plastics won the first place in medium-scale industries, while Symega Flavours India came second. In the service organisations category, Petronet CCK Ltd won the first place and Wonderla Holidays finished second. The GS Dhara Singh gold medal went to Salim A Rahman of Hindustan Insecticides Ltd.
