Demand met by leftover stock: Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore 

 According to the FACT spokesperson, the demand till now was met by previous year’s leftover stock of around 1 lakh metric tonnes.

KOCHI: According to the FACT spokesperson, the demand till now was met by previous year’s leftover stock of around 1 lakh metric tonnes. Taking into consideration the late onset of monsoon in Tamil Nadu, FACT claims the increasing demand can be met with the fixing of the boiler at the Udyogamandal facility and the resumption of production by mid-July. FACT distribution chain consists of more than 7,000 depots across South India from which retailers source their orders. FACT estimates a demand for 80,000 metric tonnes of fertilisers this monsoon season.
