E-autos to ferry techies inside Infopark campus
KOCHI: Soon techies and employees of Infopark, Kakkanad, need not have to depend on other modes of transportation for commuting within the over 200-acre campus. E-autorickshaw started by Infopark in partnership with ST Solutions, a startup, will be launched on Thursday. This will allow employees to move from one place to another within the campus using this service.
The services will be an easy affair for employees to access the buildings from the main gates of Phase 1 and Phase 2. The service will be available free of cost till the end of this week."It is a test run, putting only two autos each for Phase 1 and Phase 2 campuses for the initial period and based on the response, we will increase the numbers. A nominal fare will be charged after this week," said Reji K Thomas, deputy manager, Infopark-Administration. Meanwhile, the authorities are also planning to launch a dedicated mobile app for booking the E-auto.
