KOCHI: ATM kiosk situated at the SH College building in Thevara was vandalised by a miscreant in the early hours on Saturday. However, the incident did not result in loss of cash from the SBI’s ATM,  according to the police. The cash dispensing machine was damaged in the attack. “We have scoured the CCTV footage. It is believed the ATM kiosk was vandalised by a mentally challenged person. Hence it cannot be termed a botched heist,” said an officer. The vandalised ATM was first noticed by a passerby early in the morning who tipped off the police. A probe by the Ernakulam South police is on into the incident.
