KOCHI: The UAE consulate, in association with Dubai FDI and consulting firm Musthafa & Almana, will hold a day-long investors’ meet titled Destination Dubai at the Marriott Hotel in Kochi on Saturday. The meet will be inaugurated by UAE Consul General and head of the mission to South India Jamal Hussain Al Zaa’bi at 9:30 am, which will be followed by presentations by the Dubai FDI, said Musthafa & Almana partner Musthafa Safeer.
Dubai has already been a springboard for both large and medium enterprises from various parts of the world in general and India in particular for their global scaling and growth plans. Dubai has also been on the forefront in adapting new technologies and providing the world’s best infrastructure facilities when it comes to encouraging entrepreneurs, he said.
The meet is being held in the backdrop of Expo 2020 Dubai, scheduled between October 2020 and April 2021, bringing together more than 180 participating nations and 25 millions visitors from across the world. Expected to be one of the biggest shows on earth, the Expo is estimated to generate more than 2.77 lakh jobs in Dubai, said Musthafa.
