Apart from a hall with an area of 500 square metre, the building also includes balcony and associate arrangements constructed in traditional architecture.

The government has set aside Rs 21.5 lakh for civil works, Rs 21 lakh for electrical works and Rs 7.16 lakh for electronics section. The renovation work is expected to be completed within four months.

While the Archeological Department will take care of the civil construction works, the Public Works Department has been assigned the task of electrical repairs for which old model electrical equipment would be used.
