THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KTDC Chairman Cherian Philip has inaugurated the tour programme to Ponmudi and Kovalam. A bus to Kovalam will operate daily at 4.30 pm from Thiruvananthapuram.
The tour programme will cover Samudra beach, Vizhinjam port and Thiruvallom Temple at a cost of Rs 150. The bus to Ponmudi will leave from Thampanoor Chaithram hotel every day at 8.15 am and will cover Koyikkal palace, Golden Valley, Ponmudi upper sanatorium and Guest House park. The Ponmudi tour package is charged at Rs 400. The bookings for the tour programme can be done at Tourist Reception Centre, Thampanoor.
