THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: For the first time in the State, C-Dit (Centre for Development of Imaging Technology) would start a post-graduate diploma course in technical writing.
The one-year course would be conducted at C-Dit’s off campus centre in Kozhikode. Graduates and post-graduates can apply for the course. Those appearing for final year examinations are also eligible.
BTech, BSc, BA English and Mass Communication students would get priority for admissions.
‘‘Technical writing is a new-generation career which offers good salary and better placement opportunities,’’ said a press note issued by C-Dit.
Eligible candidates will get assistance to avail of educational loan.
C-Dit’s centralised placement cell will assist the candidates for finding placement.
