THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The question of IUML’s fifth minister will be discussed in the UDF and settled amicably, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said on Wednesday.

Chandy told a post-Cabinet briefing here that the UDF’s ‘style’ was to take everyone into confidence and finalise decisions. In leaving the decision to the AICC leadership, the Congress state unit was not shirking responsibility, he said.

‘’We are not an independent unit. We have to discuss matters with them,’’ he said. On Anoop Jacob’s ministership, Chandy said he did not wish to comment on the matter, but added that UDF will never do anything by forgetting the people of Piravom.
