Bahrain Air Cancels Flights Till Sunday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: With the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation yet to give approval for the summer schedule application of Bahrain Air, the airline has cancelled its flights in the  Bahrain-T’Puram sector up to April 8.

 The Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs Authority, the Embassy of Bahrain in India, the Embassy of India in Bahrain as well as the Bahrain Air management have been tracking all diplomatic and business channels to resume its summer schedule for 2012. A meeting between the diplomatic authorities of Bahrain and India was held in New Delhi on Monday and a decision is expected soon, according to a press note issued by the Bahrain Air management.

 Passengers should contact their travel agents or the Bahrain Air Call Centre on +973 17333777 to obtain their full refunds, the release added. Arrangements are also being made to accommodate passengers as far as possible in to and fro flights operated by the airline from Kochi.
