NEYYATTINKARA: “The situation at Neyyattinkara is favourable for the UDF to win,” said  Minister of State for Food and Civil Supplies K V Thomas.  He was speaking to reporters here after visiting Neyyattinkara Bishop Dr Vincent Samuel.  Though the Minister distanced himself from the political questions as his visit to the Bishop’s house was en route to Kurisumala pilgrimage centre, he said that he discussed the contemporary political situations too with the Bishop.  The opinion of the Latin Church will be announced by them, he said. The Minister said that he had no role in the fifth minister issue, which would be decided by the Congress High Command.

Later, Thomas visited Kurisumala pilgrimage centre.
