THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An auto driver here on Tuesday set an example by returning the money, gold and other valuables which were left forgotten in his vehicle. Mohanan, a native of Thachottukavu, returned five sovereigns of gold, around Rs 5,000, mobile phone, digital camera and other things which were left behind in his auto by four persons from Banglore who hired the auto on Monday.

"He noticed the things at night and informed the police station immediately. We could find out the people from the numbers of the mobile phone,’’ police said.

The persons from Banglore came back to collect the belongings and appreciated Mohan for his honesty.
