ATTINGAL: Computer equipment worth thousands of rupees were stolen from Veyloor High School near Murukkumpuzha. Four CPUs, as many monitors and a laser printer were reported stolen from the school.

According to Chirayinkeezhu police, the robbery had taken place between April 7 and 10. The lock of the rolling shutter was broken and the window cross bar was twisted  by the robbers to accomplish the task.

After the burglary they locked the shutter with a new lock. The robbery came to light only when the school officials opened the computer room on Monday. Forensic experts and dog squad were pressed into service. Chirayinkeezhu police had started investigations.
