THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Bahrain Air will resume its flights from the city on Friday. The airline, which had been facing the heat after its operations from here were put on hold by the Union Civil Aviation Department soon after its launch last month, has been relieved with the go-ahead.
The direct fights to Bahrain will be operational from Thursday to Sunday. On the four days, each flight will fly in and out from here, according to the airline authorities. “We would like to extend our heartiest gratitude to all the officials from Bahrain and India who were involved with their honest efforts for making Bahrain Air resume its operations to Thiruvananthapuram,” said Capt Ibrahim Abdulla Alhamer, managing director, Bahrain Air.
